Giggle Poetry is Here!
Who doesn't love a good laugh, right?  The month of April brings an exciting opportunity for both our class and I!  Where we've been dabbling in 6 types of poetry throughout the year, we'll now take some of our BEST samples and throw them into a COMPETITION!  The winners win some special technology!
How can you help at home?  Get your kids into reading and writing poetry!  By clicking on the "poetry fun" picture above, you'll be guided to a Giggle Poetry website.  Here, you can both read and write in the funnest way ever!  Have fun!

The Giggle Poetry website has so much to use, I don't even know where to begin. I love the word games, but what I love most is probably the Poetry Theater. I love poetry and acting, and this allows me to do both!

I also adore the Giggle Meter that you get to participate in after you read the poetry. It's basically a chance for you to give your opinion on the quality of the poem. You also then get to see what others think.

Thanks for the compliment! You're pretty amazing yourself! I'd love to see your story about me! Storybird really is a fun tool to use, isn't it? I'll bet you can find some art to use!

Were a chicken on your head
All the time say the word porcupine
Clap your hands and say lollipop
Kroc and panic at the same time
Yell king of the world in your backyard

If You See a Flea

If you see a flea you might as well flee, so it does not bite you or me.
